Day 3
Shimla to Manali Transfer

You will be travelling towards Manali today and the distance is 250 kilometres that will take 7 hours via Bilaspur and Mandi. The roads on this route passes through many river valleys and pine forests that creates a very beautiful view. It is recommended to start early in the morning after having your breakfast at the hotel and keep warm clothes as you might have to face temperature lower than Shimla on this route. You can take a few breaks on the way at Sunder Nagar Lake, Pandoh Dan and Hanogi Mata Temple for prayers. You should check-in into your hotel after reaching Manali for an overnight stay and the sightseeing will start tomorrow.

Day 4
Manali Local Sightseeing

The wooden temple of Devi Hidimba is the highlight of today’s sightseeing which was made 400 years ago and it is dedicated to the wife of Bhima from Mahabharat. You can click some wonderful pictures at Van Vihar before going to Club House to participate in some fun activities. You should visit the Monastery and the Mall Road after this sightseeing where you will find a good market for shopping and food stalls for meals. Day 5
Snow Points

If you love snow and adventure activities then today is a very important day as you will be visiting Solang Valley which is a must visit place in Manali. You can stop at Nehru Kund and Fun Valley on the way to click some picture before the real adventure starts.     Shimla and Manali are the most beautiful hill stations in north India that attracts millions of tourists every year from the entire country. If you want to explore all tourist places in these two cities then you should stay in Shimla for 2 days and 3 days are needed for Manali. The distance from Chandigarh to Manali is 300 kilometres and this journey takes 7 hours to complete but if you want to go to Manali directly from Shimla then the distance is 250 kilometres and the travel time is 6 hours via Bilaspur and Manali. We recommend to start travelling early in the morning to avoid city traffic otherwise the travel time might further increase between these cities. You should also avoid travelling during night on these roads because some parts of these roads are still not good.
